• The day trip to Mahmya Island begins with a pick-up with air-conditioned vehicles (Mina-Bus or BKW) from your hotel in Soma Bay.

You don’t have to worry about getting to the pier as you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the departure point. This allows for a smooth process and maximum relaxation.
•  The boat for the trip to Mahmya Island is already waiting for you at the harbor and our friendly ship crew will welcome you at the harbor.

The boat trip to Mahmya Island takes about 45 minutes. Enjoy your boat trip and you also have the chance to see dolphins on the way.

After a 45-minute boat ride, you will reach the beautiful Mahmya Island. There, you will receive your snorkeling equipment from the snorkeling center and embark on an exciting snorkeling adventure.

During the full day excursion you will have the opportunity to explore the picturesque island, relax on the white sandy beach and snorkel in the turquoise waters right off the beach. The island offers a breathtaking landscape with colorful corals and exotic fish.

Snorkeling stop from the boat (optional)

After about one and a half hours on the island you have two options:

1. You can stay on the beach and enjoy your island dreams (Mahmya Island).
2. You can enjoy a boat ride for about 20 minutes and explore the underwater world of the Red Sea with a snorkeling trip about 45 minutes from the boat.

In any case, Mahmya snorkeling excursion offers the opportunity to explore the fascinating coral reef on the offshore reef. With all its exotic fish and colorful corals, the reef is a spectacle of nature that captivates snorkelers. • Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. After that, we will charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the trip price.

Transfer costs:

• The transfer costs (pick-up from the hotel and return to the hotel) are included in the price.
• For more distant hotels and regions there is a small surcharge of €5 to €10 per person.
